CIA Deputy Director Spoke About Bitcoin (BTC)! Listed Its Benefits for the US!

Speaking to cryptocurrency analyst Anthony Pompliano, CIA Deputy Director Michael Ellis talked about Bitcoin.
Ellis stated that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are permanent, and also noted that they are useful for tracking enemies.
Ellis stated that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are beneficial to intelligence, noting that more and more institutions are adopting crypto and that this is a great trend.
Ellis, stating that their support as the CIA is not a whim but strategic, argued that Bitcoin is particularly useful for payment transactions and can be used for payments.
The Deputy Director of the CIA highlighted the intersection of national security and cryptocurrency, stating that using cryptocurrency to monitor and counter the actions of the US's competitors is immense.
At this point, Ellis stated that he sees Bitcoin as part of the global technological competition, emphasizing that the US must stay ahead of China, and that this can be achieved through BTC and cryptocurrency.
Ellis, appointed as Deputy Director of the CIA in February 2025, served as an officer at the NSA, National Security Council, and Navy Reserve Intelligence Officer before joining the CIA.
The statements of the CIA deputy director highlight Bitcoin's growing role beyond investment, indicating that its global use is increasing in both public and private sectors, including intelligence communities.
