According to Wu, BlackRock has requested to meet with the SEC's special task force on encryption assets to discuss the market progress of its digital asset products IBIT, ETHA, and BUIDL, explore the regulatory treatment of staking business and its application in exchange-traded products (ETPs), study the advancement of securities tokenization under the federal securities regulatory framework, discuss the specific standards for approving crypto ETPs and possible temporary frameworks, and propose recommendations on the holdings and exercise restrictions of crypto ETP options.
